Batumi became a meeting point for the international fashion industry as Fashion Discovery Stage by Global Fashion Code brought together models, agencies, designers and fashion professionals from multiple countries for three days of education, castings, networking and runway presentations.
The project was organized by Model Agent Group (Austria) under the direction of Anastasiia Soldatova and was created as an international professional platform focused on development, education and real industry opportunities for emerging talents.
Unlike a traditional fashion show format, Fashion Discovery Stage was designed as a three-day intensive program where participants could not only present themselves on the runway, but also gain practical understanding of the modeling industry and build direct connections with professionals working internationally.
The first two days of the program took place at Courtyard by Marriott Batumi and were dedicated to educational conferences, industry discussions and practical training sessions for both models and directors of modeling agencies. Participants explored how the international modeling industry operates, how castings are structured and what standards are required for development within global fashion markets.
A separate two-day intensive program was also created specifically for modeling agency directors and leaders, giving them the opportunity to exchange professional experience, discuss the realities of the modern industry and better understand the development of international fashion markets.
The second day additionally included live casting with European agency, runway preparation, fittings and direct interaction between models and designers ahead of the final showcase.
The final day of Fashion Discovery Stage took place at Litz Resort Batumi, where seven designers presented their collections during a sunset runway show overlooking the Black Sea coast. The visual atmosphere of the event became one of its defining elements, combining international fashion aesthetics with Batumi’s natural landscape and creating an environment that participants described as “more than just a fashion show.”
Approximately 150 participants attended the platform, including models, agency representatives, designers, parents, photographers, stylists and fashion professionals from more than five countries.
The international diversity of participants reinforced the project’s mission of connecting different parts of the fashion industry through collaboration, education and live professional communication.
One of the key goals of Fashion Discovery Stage was the selection of the most promising participants for the upcoming Global Fashion Code season this October 28, where international model agencies will conduct live castings and meet new talents directly.
Among the most emotional moments of the event were the invitations extended to selected models for future Global Fashion Code participation, as well as the awards ceremony recognizing designers, fashion photographers, stylists and industry professionals who contributed to the project and its creative atmosphere.
According to participants and agency leaders, one of the strongest aspects of the event became the sense of community and openness created throughout the three days. Many guests noted that the platform gave models and parents a clearer understanding of how to navigate the international fashion industry and what professional growth within the field truly requires.
“For us, it is important to create not simply beautiful runway shows, but a real international environment where people can learn, grow, communicate and understand the fashion industry from the inside,” said Anastasia Soldatova, founder and organizer of the project. “Fashion Discovery Stage was created to unite the industry and give talents real opportunities for the future.”
Beauty support partners of the event included independent hair and makeup professionals as well as the beauty salon Lakmouss, whose teams contributed to the backstage preparation and visual image of the runway presentations.
Fashion Discovery Stage by Global Fashion Code continues to position itself as an international platform where fashion becomes not only a visual experience, but also a tool for education, professional growth and international collaboration.
