Zainab Jama, 23, has been officially named Miss World Somalia 2025 and will represent her country at the 72nd Miss World competition in Hyderabad, India, this May.

Holding a degree in aviation and airport management, Zainab is passionate about global opportunities and cultural exchange. She is also the founder of the Female Initiative Foundation, advocating against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) to protect and empower young girls.
Beyond her advocacy, she enjoys football, modeling, and poetry. She previously competed in the Miss Global 2023 pageant in Vietnam, where she achieved a Top 13 placement.
Sharing her excitement online, she wrote, "I am beyond honored, humbled, and emotional to officially announce that I have been crowned Miss World Somalia 2025 and will be representing my beautiful country on the Miss World stage."
"This moment is more than just a title—it is a testament to hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering faith. The journey to this crown was not easy. It required resilience, sleepless nights, and pushing through countless obstacles," she continued.
"But through it all, I held onto my dream, knowing this was bigger than me—it was for the young girls who need a voice, for the women breaking barriers, and for Somalia, a nation rich in beauty, strength, and untold stories," she added.
