Elizabeth Melo is a model, influencer and student of Psychology who is currently residing in the city of Mar del Plata. With more than 100 thousand followers on her Instagram account @holasoyrubia, she is one of the most important influencers in the city and region. Former queen of city and area competitions, her main purpose is to promote the fight against bullying and to begin to raise awareness in society about the deconstruction of the stereotypes that prevailed over time. He confesses "I have achieved more than expected, since I thought that by only measuring 1.57 cm, embarking on an artistic career and tracing a path within modeling was going to be really impossible, however by believing in me and affirming that it is time to break those stereotypes and structures that were able to form as social representation in society, I was able to achieve more than I imagined ".

In addition to the modeling career that she began to undertake in 2011, Elizabeth is finishing her degree in Psychology at the National University of Mar del Plata, missing only 4 finals to become a psychologist.

The beginnings in modeling were precisely to try to change her situation of low self-esteem, thinking that this activity would teach her to value herself. Having been a victim of bullying throughout the school stage raised certain doubts about his self-concept and through modeling he sought to remedy this situation. And she recognizes that although modeling helped her to recognize and find herself, the starting point to begin to believe that she could achieve what she wanted was the exercise of self-acceptance and self-vindication. So much so that in this way he came to the conclusion that in order to grow and meet objectives, one does not have to respond to stereotypes or predetermined structures, but rather self-value one's own virtues, find oneself, recognize oneself and love oneself for who one is as a person. Elizabeth admits that the insights provided by her studies in psychology also helped her raise awareness about these issues.

His popularity on the social network Instagram has opened the way for several job proposals, among which are from being the image of brands and companies at a regional and national level, to the conduction of different types of events.

In 2017, Elizabeth founded the entity "Mar de Moda", which is based on the organization of parades and events with totally charitable purposes. The first edition of the event was totally successful, attracting hundreds of people.

She has also won the Peace Speaker Award for her work as Queen of the Valencian Falla de Mar del Plata, as well as the Sixth Sense Award for her work as a model in the years 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Among her future plans, in addition to continuing her work as a model and brand influencer, is the idea of ​​giving motivational talks about the importance of self-love and self-acceptance.
