In the face of a global pandemic crisis, the 4th edition of the famous Seychelles Fashion Week was held on 24-27 November 2021. The whole week filled the event's venue, L'Escale Marina & Spa, with various colors. A total of 16 designers - ten from South Africa and Qatar and the other six from Seychelles - showcased their artwork.

This annual event's main objective is to seek the attention of fashionistas worldwide and let them know more about the fashion industry of Seychelles. It also provides a perfect opportunity for local designers to present their works to the audience around the world and get the exposure they need.
A South African fashion designer Makhosazana Ntshangase exclaimed, "This fashion week has provided me a platform to showcase my work for the people in other countries."
To display the designer's work, 29 radiant models came forward to participate in this event, including Miss Ideal of Nigeria 2019, Sonia Ben-Woko.
Principal Secretary for Tourism Sherin Francis set this event on motion in front of Minister for Youth, Sports and Family Marie-Celine Zialor, Chief Executive of the famous Seychelles Fashion Week Terry Carola, Principal Secretary of Culture Cecile Kalebi, models, and designers.
While the fashion angel performs, the experts' panel conferred on the Seychelles fashion industry, economics, and the effects of a pandemic on the livelihood of designers.
