Acclaimed fashion designer Viktoriia Vlasenko has announced plans to open her first production facility in the U.S. for her popular Terrasse fashion brand, which will open in Los Angeles next year.
"I'm excited to announce the opening of the first production facility for the Terrasse brand," Vlasenko said. "We looked at a lot of locations, but I felt Los Angeles, which is such creative hub of unique fashions, is the ideal place for our brand."
The designer is teaming up with her creative partner and brother, Kostiantyn Vlasenko for the launch, set for January 2022 at a location to be announced this fall.
"I'm pleased to join with Viktoriia and help launch this new facility," Kostiantyn Vlasenko said. "We hope to create a unique space where we can create Terrasse's latest fashions as well as Viktoriia's grand vision for fashion with an exciting mix and match options and eye-catching accessories that will enhance your look and style!"
Since its inception, the Terrasse line features a wide range of tops, skirts, dresses and pants with the accent on elegance and style, with a uniquely European look that harkens back to upscale styles reminiscent of the 1980s and 70s. With blends of wool, cotton and other natural fibers, the Terrasse line offers women an elegant look that ranges from casual to formal with the designer's visionary and daring approach.
Viktoriia Vlasenko's fashions were recently featured in Ellements and Influential magazines' May editions. She was also featured in Vogue magazine's British and Spanish editions last year. In the British edition, noted Polish model Joanna Borov, with whom she had previously worked with in the fashion magazine Influential, wore a variety of Terrasse's summer styles.
The new facility follows the opening of the brand's first store in 2019, located in Kiev in the designer's native Ukraine. The store has been a popular mainstay for the region's fashion-conscious consumers who have embraced the brand's upscale style.

The noted designer is also known for her costume design work in such films as the upcoming "Malfunction," and the recent "Loss of Grace," as well as "Sheela" (2018), "Betrayed" (2018) and many others.
