The former US presidential candidate stirred a sensation during a wedding in New York by wearing a beautiful light blue gandoura.
Hillary Clinton was joined by her husband, former US president Bill Clinton, who wore a blue kippah on his head, matching his wife’s outfit. The couple attended the wedding ceremony of Clinton campaign supporter Marc Lasry’s daughter Sophie who happens to be of Moroccan Jewish origins.
A look that is far away from the, sometimes, austere pantsuits worn by the former candidate during her campaign. This gandoura has earned Hillary Clinton the title of the “best dressed” at this wedding by Vogue, despite the presence of numerous fashionable luminaries (including Jennifer Lopez, dressed in an emerald Hamel evening dress) according to the magazine.

This isn’t the first time Hillary stepped out in a traditional Moroccan outfit, she had already sported a beige and golden caftan during the official visit of Bill Clinton to Morocco, when he was still President of the United States in June 2000.
