Women entrepreneurs hold remarkable contributions toward the growth of Dubai economy as large number of small business owners are women. On 12 June 2021, Nousheen Mukhtar International, launched Women Leadership Summit 2021 to celebrate the success of women leaders in Dubai, UAE. The event invited women from all industries to network, connect and discuss present day challenges related to leadership in the corporate as well as business world. It was held under the patronage of the Private office of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Faisal Al Qassimi.

During the summit, the CEO of Nousheen Mukhtar International and Yes Gulf, shared her vision of supporting women entrepreneurs who own small businesses and would like to see growth. She announced that the summit will be organized every year with the purpose of connecting successful women leaders with aspiring entrepreneurs. She also announced a procession of workshops for women leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs will be held to offer learning and development support.
Ms. Salwa Abdulaziz Zein, the CEO from the Private office of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Faisal Al Qassimi chaired the event and delivered an empower speech with the announcement of a women’s networking community. The community will offer support in terms of business growth and investments to women entrepreneurs from various industries. Ms. Salwa Abdulaziz Zein is a naturally resilient entrepreneur who has launched and managed various companies in Africa at both private and government level. During the summit, she encouraged women leaders to step forward and make their mark through growth-oriented activities.
The summit included discussions on issues related to gender equality, workplace environment for women, and growth challenges for women entrepreneurs. Distinguished women entrepreneurs participated in the summit including Ms. Salwa Abdulaziz Zein, Hasnae Taleb, Christine Wilson, Sandi Seksena, Melanie Lapointe and more. Work life balance is something women usually ignore but it is essential for their wellness as well as work efficiency.
