The Latest in Fashion

Spain's 2026 FIFA World Cup win over Argentina set off celebrations well beyond the stadium. Fashion and luxury houses joined the fans, posting congratulations and, in some cases, releasing special products to mark the country's second world title.

As captain Rodri Hernández lifted the trophy, supporters poured into Spanish streets. Brands with a link to the tournament or to Spanish football soon followed online. Adidas, the official match-ball supplier, and Louis Vuitton, maker of the official trophy trunk, were among the first. The final pitted Spain against a Lionel Messi-led Argentina coached by Lionel Scaloni. Scaloni won praise for a gracious reaction, telling fans that a team should handle defeat as well as it handles victory.

Adidas Launches a Commemorative Capsule

Adidas was a winner either way, as it sponsors both finalists. Before the match it ran a campaign featuring Spain coach Luis de la Fuente, players including Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsí, and singer Aitana.

After Ferran Torres scored the winner in the 106th minute of extra time, Adidas posted a "World Champions" message with a slogan about the stars shining together. It also revealed a "Spain FIFA World Cup 2026" capsule collection, led by a new jersey whose crest carries two stars for Spain's two titles. Several players were already wearing the shirt during the celebrations at MetLife Stadium.

Louis Vuitton Extends Its World Cup Tradition

Louis Vuitton again presented the trophy in its handcrafted trunk, continuing a partnership of more than 16 years. Before kick-off, brand ambassadors Carlos Alcaraz and Hoyeon unveiled the trophy with football legends Andrés Iniesta and Mario Kempes.

After the final, the French house shared images of the trophy in its trunk, with a caption saying victory travels with Louis Vuitton. It congratulated Spain and called the occasion one that would be remembered for generations.

Nike, Puma and Spanish Labels Join In

Puma praised defender Marc Cucurella's tournament, while Nike posted a minimalist graphic reading "Vamos" above its Swoosh in Spain's colours, a tribute to captain Rodri.

Spanish brands joined too. Ecoalf adapted its "no Planet B" slogan to "no España B", and Galician label El Pulpo, a close partner of the Spanish football federation and De la Fuente, shared its own congratulations.

Silbon Is Quickest to Market

Córdoba-based menswear brand Silbon turned the win into a product fastest. It released a limited-edition commemorative polo celebrating Spain's "second star", available through its official channels. The vintage-style white polo is inspired by Spain's away kit, with red detailing on the collar, shoulders and sleeves, Silbon's crossed-rackets logo and two embroidered stars.

Silbon said it was proud to back Spanish sport and its values, and described the polo as marking a new milestone in the country's sporting history.

Adidas remains the supplier of the team's on-pitch kit. Loewe dresses the squad off the pitch, having become the federation's official tailoring partner earlier this year.
