Aslihan Morali, hailing from Ancaster, Ontario, claimed the Miss Universe Canada 2026 crown on Saturday, August 8, at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor.

The Turkish-Canadian model, actor, entrepreneur, and advocate takes over the title from last year's queen, Jaime VandenBerg, and will go on to represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this coming November.

Runner-up honors went to Jabili Kandula, who was named Miss Cosmo Canada 2026 and will compete at Miss Cosmo 2026 in Vietnam later this year. Rounding out the court were Emilie Vos, Patricia Seward, and Naomi Colford, who placed second, third, and fourth runners-up respectively.

Morali isn't new to the pageant circuit - she previously competed at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland, where she took home the Miss Congeniality award.

Beyond pageantry, she's known for founding Leap Global Voices, an initiative aimed at helping young girls recognize their own potential and take ownership of their stories.

Reflecting on her win online, Morali said she believes strongly in the Miss Universe Organization's mission of empowering women to lead, create change, and speak up for good causes, and that she hopes to use the platform to inspire children to chase their dreams and understand that their circumstances don't define their potential.
