The Latest in Fashion
Rwandan model Ken Nziza and Angolan model Ann Campos have been named the winners of the inaugural Future Face Africa (FFA) model competition, which concluded over the weekend with a grand finale at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.
The event, hailed as Africa’s largest model talent search, drew an audience of key industry figures from the fashion, beauty, and modeling sectors. After an exhaustive selection process that included physical castings across eight African countries and thousands of digital submissions from around the globe, the judging panel chose Nziza and Campos from a pool of 18 finalists—turning their long-held modeling dreams into reality.
As part of their prize, the duo secured a two-year contract with an international modeling agency, along with a $5,000 cash award.
The Future Face Africa initiative is spearheaded by Elizabeth Isiorho, a veteran of the African modeling scene and founder of Beth Model Management Africa. Over nearly two decades, her agency has been a trailblazer in the industry, launching the careers of numerous internationally recognized models, including Mayowa Nicholas and Davidson Obennebo. Isiorho previously organized Elite Model Look Nigeria, but after a two-year hiatus, she returned with FFA—expanding the competition beyond Nigeria to offer aspiring models from across the continent a broader platform for success.
Isiorho emphasized that her vision for FFA goes beyond industry buzzwords like "diversity" and "inclusivity." She aims to create a initiative that genuinely celebrates the full spectrum of beauty by providing opportunities to talent from different countries, backgrounds, and skin tones.
Beyond the prize money and contracts, Future Face Africa is committed to equipping its winners with the knowledge and professional skills needed to thrive on the international stage and build sustainable, long-term careers in the modeling world.
