Mariana Micheli, President of Mad Mood Milano Fashion Week, made her inaugural visit to Turkmenistan to showcase her global talent platform. During the "Turkmentextile Expo – 2025," she presented a collection by young Italian designer Leonardo Ligorio.
Mad Mood Milano is an international platform dedicated to discovering and propelling emerging designers worldwide. With partnerships spanning from Serbia Fashion Week to ASEAN International Fashion Week, and active talent development in regions like South America and Bulgaria, the platform has a truly global footprint.
Micheli, who also founded the innovative MEDITERRANEAN FASHION AND FOOD WEEK, expressed keen interest in collaborating with Turkmen designers. When asked about potential cooperation, she responded enthusiastically: "Why not?"
Her visit to Ashgabat signals new opportunities for Turkmen designers to access international networks and integrate into the global fashion scene.
