GX Fashion Week 2025 Paris: An Unforgettable Chapter of Emotions and International Sartorial Art

In the timeless setting of the Pavillons Etoile et Presbourg, just steps away from the Arc de Triomphe, the French capital welcomed GX Fashion Week 2025, transforming it into a ritual of pure emotion, experimentation and avant-garde. An evening that fused the great tradition of Parisian haute couture with the cosmopolitan energy of stylistic voices from every corner of the world. After its Milanese triumph, the event conceived and directed by Gentiana Dervishi enchanted the Parisian audience, confirming itself not only as an unmissable appointment in the international fashion scene, but also as a celebration of talent and creativity.

The president commented: “This Paris edition has once again demonstrated that fashion is a universal language. The Austrian collective expressed elegance through rigor and innovation; from Japan we witnessed an aesthetic harmony capable of combining minimalism and poetry; while the MUBRI collective from Spain transformed jewelry into pure light, into emotions to wear. This is what GX Fashion Week lives for: to unite cultures, stories and different sensibilities on a single stage that moves and leaves a mark.”

The runways of wonder came alive with the creations of Maya Hasegawa (Japan) who presented a collection of strong scenic impact, the result of her long experience in theatrical costume design. Her creations merge performance art with haute couture, transforming traditional Japanese obi into gowns with dramatic, theatrical silhouettes. Rich fabrics, refined textures and a powerful sense of theatricality gave life to a fashion that is also performance, a vibrant bridge between costume and couture, able to surprise and captivate the international audience.

Nicteel by Owana Lima (Guatemala) brought to Paris the living soul of her homeland, transfigured into collections that combine identity and modernity. An emerging Guatemalan designer of growing acclaim, Owana Lima is recognized for her ability to reinterpret her country’s traditional textiles in a contemporary way, transforming them into urban and sophisticated silhouettes. After perfecting her training at prestigious institutions such as Istituto Marangoni and Elle Education, she developed a cosmopolitan vision that blends artisanal savoir-faire with haute couture. With her brand Nicteel, already featured on the runways of New York, Milan, Paris and Madrid, Lima demonstrated how Guatemalan textile tradition can become contemporary luxury, merging ancestral craftsmanship, sustainability and cutting-edge design.

The MUBRI Collective (Madrid, Spain) amazed with the creations of three designers, transforming jewelry into emotional art. Andrea Siia presented the collections M?r?cine and Vestigio, uniting resilience, memory and nature. M?r?cine, inspired by the thistle, transformed gold and precious stones into narrative jewels of strength and hope, with a collier worn by Luna as a symbol of empowerment. Vestigio celebrated memory through gold, silver and orange sapphires, with iconic pieces such as Alessandra’s ladybug ring and a maxi-necklace inspired by an oat field, proving how technique and creativity can tell moving stories. Elsy Aragón, Venezuelan designer, combined geometry, architecture and industrial design in unique and meaningful jewels. Her collection “Orígenes,” inspired by sacred geometry, fused harmony and symbolism, creating a bridge between tradition and modernity. Active in MUBRI since 2016 and President of the Spanish chapter since 2022, Elsy has showcased her creations on runways, fairs and museums internationally, consolidating her distinctive mark in contemporary jewelry. Alejandra Cortez, brand Joyas del Mar (Mexico), drew inspiration from the ocean and the fishing traditions of Baja California, transforming shells, stones and pearls into contemporary jewelry and accessories. At Paris GX Fashion Week 2025 she collaborated with Pavlova Santillán, merging couture with the refinement of marine jewels. Her creations, present in Mexico, the USA, Spain, France and the Netherlands, celebrate the memory of the sea and sustainable craftsmanship, also exhibited at international fairs and museums such as Madrid Joya Exhibition and the IX Contemporary Jewelry Exhibition 2025.

Natalia Ramirez, brand Pastrana, gemologist and jewelry creator, founded Atelier Pastrana after international experiences in Colombia, Spain and France. With more than twenty years of experience, she creates bespoke jewelry capable of narrating emotions and personal stories, also exploring pre-Colombian goldsmithing. Her collection TYBA, inspired by Muisca culture, fused tradition, color and symbolism into elegant narrative jewels. Mokodu Fall (Senegal/France/Italy), eclectic artist and designer, presented “Jardins de l’Amour,” a collection where painting and fashion merge. Painterly motifs became living fabrics, with red dominating over shades of yellow to evoke energy and transcendence. Each garment told a story, from the romanticism of La robe rose de Shanghai to the poetic dreams of Les rêves de Ravhiance, the symbolic strength of La lance de Gazzé and the intensity of Le couple de cygnes amoureux, transforming canvas and painting into living couture.

Topmodel TV, Collective Austria offered one of the most anticipated moments, bringing to the stage five outstanding designers selected by Dominik Wachta and his agency 1st Place Models, three times awarded “Best Agency of the Year” in Austria. After the runways of Milan, London and Paris, the collective reaffirmed its role as ambassador of Austrian fashion with a surprising variety of creative visions. Doris Berger, brand Rosengarten Couture, presented gowns weaving the delicacy of past centuries with a contemporary touch: unique handcrafted creations ranging from elegant couture to historical costumes, with forays into steampunk and medieval inspiration. Nikola Baumgartner, trained between Slovakia and Austria, showcased high-quality pieces, the result of artisanal mastery and a path of constant evolution between haute couture and refined prêt-à-porter. Christa Franz, brand christAfranZ, winner of the Golden Award – Sustainable Fashion Craft, impressed with bold and sensual models made with natural fibers and a sustainable approach. Her garments, with refined contemporary cuts, reflect a strong and self-confident personality. Lena Buhl, a young talent from Pinzgau, unveiled her debut collection: sustainable bespoke fashion, ranging from everyday wear to couture, with a clear philosophy – clothes should adapt to people, not people to clothes. Claudia Hochmüller, brand Grünschnabel & Gänseblümchen, enriched the evening with unique dirndl and costumes, sustainable and accessible prêt-à-porter designed for both daily life and special occasions. Completing her collection, the jewelry of designer Irene Hiebl (Atelier Bombardi) added a precious and sophisticated touch to the ensemble.

The backstage, orchestrated by Alessia Xhafa, ensured flow and perfection, while the Air Make-up Artist team, directed by Liliana Grembi and Alex Radulescu, and composed of Dea Marchetti, Sachie Kishihara, Sefora Lazarut, Misha Ela, Valentina Shala and Bruna Mandri, transformed every face into an extension of the aesthetic narrative, turning make-up into an integral part of the scenic performance.

GX Fashion Week 2025 Paris was not only a fashion event, but a journey through cultures, languages and visions. An evening in which tailoring became living art, capable of moving and leaving an indelible mark. After Milan and Paris, the event confirms itself as a privileged itinerary of high creativity, ready to write new chapters in the international fashion story. To make the day impeccably perfect, credit goes to the entire APS Showteam, a group of professionals who dedicated their expertise to managing the backstage of such a masterpiece, which once again stands as a source of pride for General Director Gentiana Dervishi.
