At an event in Luxembourg City on Wednesday morning, online fashion retailer Zalando launched a dedicated website and app for Luxembourg, marking a significant shift from its previous approach where the country was served through its Belgian platform. According to Fabio Baum, General Manager for the Benelux and Nordic regions, while Luxembourgish consumers have historically engaged with Zalando via the Belgian site, the new local platform allows the company to fully showcase its offerings. As of Wednesday, customers are required to switch to the Luxembourg-specific service, which introduces access to the Zalando Plus loyalty scheme and local parcel pick-up points for the first time. The platform is available in English, French, and German, and will feature products and fashion tips tailored to local trends, styles, and climate-making the Luxembourg store unique despite offering the same products as neighbouring countries.
