Judges Complete Pre-Selection for Namuna College’s 19th Graduation Fashion Show

 

Held on the college premises, the pre-judgment session served as a crucial evaluation phase, where students presented their inspirations, creative processes, and execution techniques to an esteemed panel of judges. This session provided an opportunity for students to receive constructive feedback, allowing them to refine their designs ahead of the final showcase. The collections displayed a harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship, modern aesthetics, and innovative concepts, reflecting the students' talent and dedication to fashion design.

 

The 88 aspiring designers explored their creativity across nine distinct themes, forming eight unique collections. Each collection embodied a different artistic vision, ranging from cultural heritage to futuristic fashion narratives. The themes included Divyakanta, Mimamsa, Himalayan Euphony, Samsara, Nepalese Nirvana, Prarambhantika, Hiraeth of Weaves, Suramya Pahiran, and Lush Legacy. Through detailed PowerPoint presentations, the students elaborated on their concept development, material choices, garment construction techniques, and the design evolution process.

 

 

A distinguished panel of judges assessed the students’ presentations. The jury included Kiran Prakash Saakha, Chairman of Saakha Group; fashion designer Anu Shrestha; and fashion educators Kushma Shrestha and Rajendra Singh. NCFT’s Founder Principal, Mrs. Gyani Shova Tuladhar, and Vice-Principal, Mr. Jeebeswor Lal Shrestha, were also present. The judges provided insightful critiques, helping students fine-tune their designs for the final event.

 

According to the college management, the grades awarded in the Pre-Judgment Program will contribute to the final scores given by the judging panel during the Graduation Fashion Show. These combined scores will be published by Purbanchal University under the subject Fashion Show, which is a part of the End Semester Board Examinations for the Bachelor of Fashion Design and Management (BFDM) program. This structured evaluation ensures a fair assessment of both the creative process and the final presentation.

 

 

The Anukalpit Prabhanam fashion show is entirely organized and managed by the 88 graduating students of NCFT’s 19th batch. The event will feature 88 regular wear designs and nine creative wear pieces, modeled by 36 professional models, both male and female. Renowned fashion choreographer and media personality Rojin Shakya is leading the show’s choreography, promising a visually captivating runway experience.

 

A major event of this scale relies on strong collaborations and sponsorships. The fashion show is co-powered by The Plaza Nepal, with Singapore Beverages Nepal as the beverage partner.
