MILAN LOVES SEOUL IS BACK AT MILAN FASHION WEEK 2025

 

The project, born to promote cultural exchange between Italy and South Korea and give visibility to the varied and innovative world of emerging designers from the two countries, after the success of the Italian edition in Seoul held last September 2024, will return to Italy with a new edition with the theme "Seoul sense: sleek fashion, pure beauty", inspired by the concepts of harmony, ritual and transformation .

 

The “Sleek Fashion” concept will explore fashion interpreted as an extension of personal identity and beauty, with a particular focus on sustainability, bringing to Italy a selection of cutting-edge emerging Korean brands, while the “Pure Beauty” concept will focus on the exclusive launch of high-end Korean cosmetic brands, highlighting highly concentrated natural ingredients and innovation.

 

 

The selected Korean designers will present collections characterized by transparencies and fluid silhouettes, embodying a refined and contemporary aesthetic.

 

The 14 emerging Korean fashion brands selected for this edition are: Troa, Dahna, Tibaeg, Vegan Tiger, Nuria, Riu&Viu, Okiio Lounge, Jeanbach, Finoacinque, Suisuee, Nuosmiq, Sun Daum Ahhorn and Tripleroot.

 

The event will open on February 28th with an invitation-only Opening Ceremony that will see the participation of important institutions such as the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Milan, Camera Showroom Milano, Federmoda Milano, Kotra, opinion leaders and industry professionals.

 

An evening that will be a real meeting point between art, culture and fashion that will be animated by a standing fashion show by traditional designer Sun Daum, who will bring to the stage the beauty and refinement of traditional Korean fashion. During the evening, there will be exhibited the works of the talented painter and sculptor Shim Nan Young, flanked by a small exhibition dedicated to emerging Italian designers already presented during the Italian edition in Seoul last September. To make the atmosphere even more special, a signature cocktail designed specifically for the occasion by Yuvi, who will add a touch of creativity and taste to the event.

 

 

On the days open to the public on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd March, from 10.00 to 18.00 it will be possible to visit the booths of the 14 Korean fashion designers but also participate in an exciting series of masterclasses and talks with targeted insights on fashion and the Korean market, on phenomenon of the Senior Model, beauty, culture and entertainment Made in Korea and immerse yourself in a series of interactive activities coordinated together with the event sponsors. Beauty Made in Korea will also be the protagonist with the presence of exhibition booths of the Axis brands -y, Your Vegan, Deardot, Miiora, Hellabe, Moira, Romand, Danha beauty.

 

The event will end on March 3 with an invitation-only Fashion Show & After Party that will see the creations of eight of the fourteen designers of this edition parade on the catwalk: Troa, Dahna, Tibaeg, Vegan Tiger, Nuria, Riu&Viu, Okiio Lounge and Tripleroot 

 

 

In the calendars of the two Fashion Weeks, Milan Loves Seoul is an unmissable event for fashion lovers, which celebrates creativity, culture and innovation aimed at building a bridge between the two countries also promoting collaboration between talents from very different cultural contexts.

 

The project, conceived by two entrepreneurs Ylenia Basagni and Marcella Di Simone together with partners Paolo Rossanigo, Daniele Capogna, Alessandro Pitzalis and Lucio Rado, is sponsored by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea and Camera Showroom Milano.
