Dainty Vintage Debuts at Palazzo Parisio with Its First-Ever Vintage Fashion Show

Last Sunday, Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar set the stage for the launch of DaintyVintage.com, a new online platform for vintage fashion, founded by Maltese entrepreneurs Kelly Pisani and Lexi Borg.

What began as a personal thrifting passion for Pisani in 2020 has blossomed into a fully-fledged platform featuring a curated selection of vintage clothing and accessories inspired by the ‘90s and 2000s. With Borg taking on the role of Creative Director, the duo is gearing up for international expansion. Their philosophy, "to seduce with style," embodies their mission to merge timeless vintage with a modern flair.

A Spectacular Vintage Fashion Show

Over 150 guests, including prominent Maltese fashion figures such as Stella Cini and Lorinda Mamo, gathered to celebrate the launch. The vibrant atmosphere was complemented by DJ Nagem Gatt’s beats and the elegant backdrop of Palazzo Parisio.

The evening’s highlight was a dazzling vintage fashion show featuring 18 models showcasing hundreds of outfits. Styles ranged from playful Coquette aesthetics and ethereal Fairycore to nostalgic Y2K ensembles. Photographers Lindsey Bahia and Dean Bartolo captured every standout moment of the event.

Sweet Endings and Exciting Plans

Adding a delightful touch, guests enjoyed a heart-shaped cake in Dainty Vintage’s signature colors, crafted by Jeanine Vela of Ganna’s Bakes. As the evening concluded, Kelly and Lexi revealed their ambitious plans: a series of vintage pop-up stores across Malta to build a community of vintage enthusiasts ahead of their international debut.
