Colombia's Diana Moreno Crowned Miss Globe 2024 in Spectacular Ceremony
Diana Moreno from Colombia was crowned Miss Globe 2024 during a glittering competition held on Tuesday, October 15, at the Tirana Olympic Park in Albania. The 27-year-old international business professional triumphed over more than 40 contestants, becoming the first Colombian woman to win the prestigious global title.
Prada Thansita Dilhokanansa from Thailand was named first runner-up, while Jasmin Bungay of the Philippines, Andromeda Schuster of Germany, and Ha Trang Do of Vietnam took the second, third, and fourth runner-up spots, respectively.
Contestants from Italy, Cameroon, Belgium, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Albania, Montenegro, and the USA rounded out the Top 16 semifinalists.
This year's competition marked the 21st edition of the Miss Globe pageant. The outgoing queen, Manvin Khera from Malaysia, crowned her successor during the event.
The newly crowned Miss Globe hails from Barbosa, in the northeastern Colombian department of Santander. Diana, a seasoned pageant competitor, previously represented Cundinamarca and finished second at Miss Mundo Colombia 2024 in Bogotá.
