Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 during the national competition held on Saturday, September 14, at the Phu Tho Indoor Sport Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.
The 28-year-old model from Nam Dinh will now prepare to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November, succeeding last year's winner, Quynh Hoa Bui.
Nguyen Quynh Anh and Vu Thuy Quynh were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Paris Bao Nhi and Quach Tapiau Maily rounded out the Top 5 finalists.
An experienced contestant, the new Miss Universe Vietnam is a former Miss Vietnam winner from 2014. Last year, she also served as a mentor in season 4 of "The Face Vietnam," a Vietnamese modeling-themed reality TV series.
The journey to the 73rd Miss Universe begins.
