Victoria Velasquez Vincent was crowned Miss Universe New Zealand 2024 during the national final held on Sunday, September 29, at the Dorothy Winstone Centre in Auckland. The 29-year-old Filipina-Kiwi beauty will go on to represent New Zealand at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, set to take place in Mexico City this November.
Gazelle Garcia and Inge Carolus were named first and second runners-up, respectively.
Victoria is no stranger to pageantry, having previously competed in Miss Universe Philippines twice, where she placed in the Top 5 in 2021 and the Top 10 in 2024.
New Zealand last participated in Miss Universe in 2019, represented by Diamond Langi.
The journey to the 73rd Miss Universe continues.
