Liliam Ashby Barrera has been officially appointed Miss International Panama 2024 and will represent her country at the Miss International 2024 pageant in Tokyo, Japan, this November.

The 24-year-old medical student received her crown from her predecessor, Linette Clement, who secured a Top 15 finish at last year's Miss International competition.
The special coronation ceremony, held on Monday, September 23, in Panama City, was attended by reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio from Venezuela.
Liliam previously earned the title of first runner-up at Miss Universe Panama 2024, where she represented Panama Centro last month.
Panama has won the Miss International crown once, thanks to Lía Victoria Borrero González in 1998, making her the first Panamanian to win a major international beauty pageant.
