Stockholm Fashion Week: Stylein SS10

 Swedish designer Elin Nystrom, the creative force behind the label Stylein, recently showcased her Spring/Summer 2011 collection at Stockholm Fashion Week. After graduating from New York's prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in 2001, the Swedish-born designer quickly established her label. Now headquartered in Gothenburg, Stylein brings together design, production, a showroom, and a retail store under one roof in its concept store. Fortunately, you don’t need to visit Gothenburg to shop the collection-Stylein is available in select locations across Copenhagen, London, Antwerp, Paris, Athens, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, and Sydney. I'm particularly drawn to her latest collection for its simplicity in both color and cut. Despite this minimalism, the pieces are anything but ordinary, showcasing Nystrom's mastery of classic aesthetics and an impeccable sense of proportion.
