ASPARA FASHION WEEK: The XII Edition of an International Fashion Showcase

Taraz, once known as the "city of merchants" and standing at the intersection of great trade routes, world civilizations and cultures, is one of the oldest cities in Kazakhstan, having more than 2000 years of history. The dust of centuries has brought many ancient cities, but Taraz, perishing and reviving again, as always surprises with special facets of applied art.

 

 

 

Recently, Taraz has acquired new outlines, new structural constructions, but the flavor of mystery and spiritual culture of different peoples and civilizations of the distant past is inherent in it even now. There is no doubt, and we should not forget about it, Taraz is one of the most ancient cities of Kazakhstan. It is attributed to it the primacy in many respects: the first megalopolis, the first mosque built in Kazakhstan, the first madrasa, the first city of Kazakhstan included in the World List of world cities of artisans. 

 

International project "ASPARA FASHION WEEK", created by the authoritative world clothing designer Aidarkhan Kaliyev in early 2017. Thanks to his activities, for the first time in Kazakhstan, international fashion shows were organized and continue to be held with the participation of not only Kazakhstani and Central Asian designers, but also specialists from almost all over the world.  ASPARA FASHION WEEK is the world's first official fashion week, which did not stop working even during the two-year pandemic and continued to function online.

 

 

 

ASPARA FASHION WEEK platform gives the participants of the fashion week not only promotion and status, but also realization of author's products in Kazakhstani, Central Asian and European showrooms, franchise opportunities with Chinese manufacturers, direct work with buyers. With each season the number of participants in the International project ASPARA FASHION WEEK is growing.

 

In just XI seasons, over 700 designers from more than 50 countries, as well as more than 30 famous fashion bloggers, journalists, presidents of the largest fashion weeks in Europe and Asia took part in the project. From October 12 to 14, 2023, the XII season of ASPARA FASHION WEEK will be held in Taraz under the motto "DIALOGUE OF CULTURES", which will continue to glorify ancient Taraz, the revival of the national spirit, patriotism, dignity and honor.

 

The whole history of mankind is the dialogue of cultures, which permeates all our life and is the most favorable basis for the development of interethnic and interethnic relations. Thanks to the dialogue of cultures, there is an interpenetration and mutual enrichment of cultures themselves, a spiritual rapprochement of large cultural regions. For this purpose, developed countries organize international events in the field of culture, crafts and fashion.

 

The purpose of the XII season of ASPARA FASHION WEEK is to create an atmosphere of national values and to develop an understanding that one's own ethno-cultural coexistence is impossible without a respectful and careful attitude to the values of other peoples.

 

Over the past XI seasons, ASPARA FASHION WEEK has become popular not only in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, but also around the world. ASPARA FASHION WEEK has partnerships with more than 20 major fashion weeks in the global world. In total, 30 designers will take part in the project of the XII season of "ASPARA FASHION WEEK", of which will present collections of both young, promising and well-known international designers.

 

The first day of the opening of the XII season "ASPARA FASHION WEEK" will allow to see the collections of 10 designers from which, 4 participants from Kazakhstan and 6 participants from near and far abroad.  The opening of the season will be provided by the collection from the brand Aspara. From Kazakhstan will participate designers from Atyrau and Astana (collection of children's clothing). Such famous designers as Tatyana Vorotnikova from Kyrgyzstan, Lola Saifi from Uzbekistan, Leili Xaidova from Turkmenistan will please us. From European designers we will be able to see the collections of Roberto Pelegrino - Italy and Asian designer Gloris from China. The first day of the show will feature such young and promising designers as Nailia Burganova from Tatarstan and Timur Tursunkulov from Taraz.

 

The second day will open the curtain to see the collections of 5 Kazakhstani designers: Irina Naboko - Taraz and Dana Ashimova - Astana, who recently showed their collections in Milan. We will also see collections from guests from Kazakhstan from Uralsk from Zhuldyz Khuspanova and Karaganda from the brand Fashion agency Siluet. Viewers' sympathy will definitely deserve to see the collection from the famous world designer from Tajikistan – Umed Kuchkaliev. Collections from Kyrgyzstan by Nurzat ZHeenbek, China by Wangyi Hua and collections from Indian designers will please the audience with their novelties. The place on the podium for the show will again be given to young designers: Serika Samal from Taraz.

 

 

 

On the third day of viewing designer collections it will be possible to plunge into the world of beauty from collections of Toty Shekimova - Astana, Nigora Nasimova - Tajikistan, Zawre Kaby - China, collections from Romania, India. The collections of Perizat Toichubekova and Totykan from Kyrgyzstan will help to feel the trend of national color in the modern world of fashion. The youngest viewers will be pleased with the collection of children's clothes by Ainur Amanova and Inju Muratbekova. Aliya Kudaibergenova from Taraz will perform from young designers.

 

As part of the International Fashion Week ASPARA FASHION WEEK from October 12 to 14 will be held International Exhibition "Fashion and Crafts" with the participation of artisans from Brazil, India, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and other countries. The exhibition will be held in the ethnocultural complex "Kone Taraz" exhibition pavilion "SHAHRISTAN" from 12.00 to 20.00 hours.

 

The atmosphere of ASPARA FASHION WEEK is always filled with bright and beautiful events. Every year the fashion week only pleases and amazes guests and viewers with new faces and novelties. And we should not forget that one of the main objectives of the XII season of ASPARA FASHION WEEK is to promote genuine young talents and improve quality in the industry and fashion.
