IPOH's Fifth Annual International Fashion Week: December 1st - 3rd, 2023

Fashion in Malaysia is influenced by the historical fusion of Malay, Chinese, Indian and various other indigenous cultures. International IPOH Fashion week (iifw) has become a central platform for positioning Malaysia as a thriving emerging fashion capital, with a two-pronged objective of showcasing Perak Malaysia-based fashion talent globally and at the same time welcoming the world to the Wonders of Perak. IIFW has helped boost tourist arrivals to the silver state as we showcase our culture, food and popular tourist destinations. a promising Perak trend that could send a clear message to the world on the importance of a fashion tourism with a heart.

International IPOH Fashion Week (IIFW) has solidified its reputation as one of the most looked forward to events in ipoh. we have worked tirelessly since the event’s inception in 2017 to create a platform that celebrates fashion and foster local talents. International IPOH Fashion Week (IIFW) will once again demonstrate its remarkable ability to bring together fashion enthusiasts, philanthropists, and the community at large for a noble cause leaving a lastingimpact on both the fashion industry and the lives of those in need under the inspiring motto

IIFW founder Mr. Luis Sebastian together with his talented energetic board members has gained recognition and popularity within asian countries capturing the MFMPA 2019/20 Fashion Week of the year award winner.

IIFW Season 5 holds great promise as we strive to surpass our previous achievements. we are excited to bring together fashion, tourism, charity, and community once again, creating a platform where creativity meets compassion. An understanding of fashion which contributes to our personal style based on our cultural background, beliefs and environment.
 
Beyond the glitz and glamour of the runway, IIFW has been instrumental in providing a stepping stone for emerging fashion designers and promoting the rich tapestry of malaysian fashion. the event’s reputation has even extended beyond national borders, with renowned fashion labels and powerhouses from Singapore, Indonesia, Nepal, India and the Philippines. This International collaboration has not only elevated the event’s stature but has also allowed the fashion faculties of Uitm Seri Iskandar and Kolej Komuniti Batu Gajah to gain exposure to a wider audience.
 
 
The support by Perak state government, tourism perak, majlis bandaraya IPOH, majlis
perbandaran manjung, tourism malaysia and other state agencies have made a
difference and continue to inspire positive change through the power of fashion by
carving its niche of being a marquee fashion event in Malaysia
 
A total of 45 female / male models both local / international will take the runway. at
the heart of this glamorous affair lies a deep sense of empathy and commitment under
the watchful eye of pertubuhan ‘sehati perak’ kinta, perak an ngo consist of iifw core
members. we together with many others emphasized the importance of creating a
fashion hub for our beloved state perak, promoting tourism with participating
international / local designers and a passion of giving back to the society.
 
 
1ST - 3RD DECEMBER – 3 DAYS 3 SEPARATE VENUES   
 
1st Decemebr red carpet black tie royal charity gala dinner at jubilee ballroom, Royal
perak golf club ipoh graced by HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim,
members of perak royal family, foreign ambassadors, celebrities.
 
2nd December morning fashion street runway at iconic IPOH old town time 9.30am –
12 noon (open to public) followed by media luncheon at 22 hale street
 
3rd december unique closing fashion showcase time 7pm – 10pm at lumut
waterfront marinetime (open to public)
