Designer Melissa Phair, Launches Resort Wear Collection Worldwide

 

Melissa was inspired to design the perfect resort collection after 12 years working for the rich and famous on-board Super Yachts as a Head Chef. Throughout this time, she has travelled extensively around the world. Her years travelling inspired her to create trans seasonal, versatile wardrobe staples to simplify your suitcase while still looking fabulous. At its heart, Melissa Phair is an eco-conscious and sustainable brand. Melissa is passionate about fighting the effects of fast fashion and the impact this has on the planet. The collection is created using 100% sustainable linen and recycled satin. It is packaged in compostable bags and recyclable craft boxes.

 

 

Each piece of Melissa’s collection is personal and has been inspired by a memory or moment of her travels. It features the stunning Melissa Dress designed with a kimono sleeve influenced by Melissa’s own time in Japan where she trained as a sushi chef. Signature leaf patterns run throughout the collection which Melissa encountered whilst travelling through India. With femininity at its core, the collection is named after Greek goddesses. Chapter One officially launched on the 7th of July featuring six key pieces: The Melissa Dress in two colours; black and white; the Nanaya Set, 100% black linen crop top and matching midi skirt; the Eos Midi skirt in ivory and the Freyja Crop top in white.

 

 

 

This month sees the launch of Melissa’s second collection: SWIM. This chapter features five key pieces which include the Aphrodite swimsuit; the Venus high waisted crop bikini; the Selene sarong which doubles as a head scarf and the signature leaf print Flora recycled satin trousers. The final phase of this premier collection, aptly named ‘Endless Summer’ features two timeless dresses: The Aurora midi dress and the signature leaf print linen Athena dress. This truly is an exceptional collection of timeless pieces for the modern woman. With an emphasis on femininity, sustainability and travel, Melissa Phair should be a staple in every suitcase.
